What we set
A sign-in session cookie (so you stay signed in); a theme cookie (light / dark); a language cookie (your chosen locale); and — only if you set an area while signed out — a session cookie holding the city you typed, rounded to about 1 km, which disappears when you close the browser.
Why there's a banner
In some countries we're required to tell you even about necessary cookies, so visitors there see a short notice once. There's nothing to opt out of because nothing is tracked.
Changes
If we ever add a cookie that needs consent, this page and the banner will say so first.
