Help — no manual needed
One page for organizers, ten questions for players. Still stuck? Every screen has a Help / feedback link.
Organizer quick-start — post your first night
About two minutes on your phone. Eight fields or fewer; everything else has a sensible default.
- 1Sign in with Google, Apple or Microsoft — there is no account to create and no card to enter.
- 2Create your club: name, city, and the e-transfer email your players will pay (skippable — add it later).
- 3Post a series: sport → name → day & time → from–to dates → venue address → price → capacity → Post. Weekly, 16 spots, e-transfer + cash for regulars, 24 h hold, 24 h cutoff, waitlist on — all defaults, all editable under More options.
- 4Share one link or QR for the whole season — it never expires. Tape the poster to the gym door; players scan → sign in → pick a date → pay.
- 5Money runs itself: e-transfer holds remind the player and expire; cash is settled by the check-in tap. Open the Unpaid board, tap Mark paid — done.
- 6On the night: open the desk on your phone, tap a name to check them in (and cash if that's how they pay), add walk-ups by name, release a seat if someone can't make it.
- 7Can't make it as a club? Cancel the date or send an urgent notice — everyone joined is told immediately and credits settle per your policy.
- 8Nervous? Your practice series is a sandbox with fake regulars: nothing sends, nothing publishes. Rehearse there first.
Player FAQ — ten questions
- Do I need an account?
- No account to create — you sign in with Google, Apple or Microsoft when you tap Join or ☆ Follow. Browsing never asks.
- What does it cost?
- SwingRally is free for players. The only money is the club's session fee or pass — priced by the organizer and paid to the club, never to SwingRally.
- How do I pay?
- By e-transfer to the club (the screen gives you the address, amount and memo code to copy) or cash at the desk where the organizer allows it. A season pass, if the series offers one, is marked paid by the organizer.
- What is a hold?
- Joining by e-transfer holds your spot for 24 hours (the organizer can set it differently). Pay and tap “I've sent it” and the hold stays until they confirm; otherwise it's released and the spot goes back out.
- The night is full — now what?
- Join the waitlist; when a spot opens you get an offer with a confirm-by clock. If the organizer runs no waitlist, ☆ Follow and you'll hear the moment a spot opens.
- Can I cancel?
- Yes — cancel before the cutoff (24 h by default) and you get a session credit or your pass isn't deducted. After the cutoff the fee stands unless the organizer chooses otherwise.
- What does ☆ Follow do?
- One tap, asks nothing else. You get a daily what's-new for the series — only on days something changed — with one-tap Join. Following is private: nobody, organizer included, sees who follows.
- Where is my location used?
- Only to sort the near-me list. It's optional, rounded to about 1 km, never shown to anyone, and deleted in one tap.
- What do organizers see about me?
- Your display name, what you joined and paid, and whether you showed up — for their own club only. Notes they keep are private and factual, and you can ask to see your record.
- Is there a scoreboard?
- Only when the organizer turns on scoring for that date. Most open-play nights have no board — your history records that you played, and that's it.
